The competition's heavy. BUT, that only means that shortlisting would be quite a feather in the ol' writing cap. You almost HAVE to try, considering that. Good practice for the Bridport next spring! I want to write a couple of new things though, as mentioned in my December pledge, just to prove to myself that I can - it's been years since I wrote any short stories at all although I have ideas for them all the time.
